Kami was raised as a military dependent and then spent 19 years as a military spouse, living across multiple states and overseas before settling in Oklahoma in 2009.

For more than 25 years, Kami owned and operated McManus Family Childcare, a licensed family childcare business, with 16 of those years serving families here in Oklahoma. Through her work, she developed a passion for working with families and advocating for quality childcare. She also served on the Oklahoma Childcare Advisory Board and various state committees, working to improve regulations and support for childcare providers.

Kami is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Child Development & Early Intervention at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and graduating in July 2026.

Kami married her husband, Timothy, in 2000 and they have two children. Their son, Connor, recently got engaged to his girlfriend of three years, Leyla, who is graduating from UCO with a degree in Forensics in December 2025. Their daughter, Haleigh, is a high school senior and competitive dancer.

Some of her favorite things to do are spending time with family and supporting her children—whether at dance competitions, music recitals, football games, or other school and church events.

Kami brings her experience in customer service, problem-solving, and working with diverse communities to everything she does at Cobble Insurance Agency.
